Only one switch in that list is on, and it belongs to you: a small save file on your own phone. Everything else Fadegrid simply does not have.

Who is responsible

Fadegrid is made and published by AP Center d.o.o., a company registered in Slovenia, which releases its games under the name BrightRaven Games. Under the General Data Protection Regulation that company would be the controller of any personal data the game handled — and it handles none, so the title describes an empty job.

What the save file holds

So that a half-solved board is waiting when you come back and a par you beat stays beaten, Fadegrid writes a small file into its own private storage on your phone:

None of this identifies you. No name, email address, phone number, contact list, photo, location, advertising identifier or device identifier is involved at any point. The file never leaves the phone, and we never see it.

Boards are generated on the device

Handcrafted packs ship inside the download, and endless mode builds its boards on your phone when you ask for one — no daily puzzle is fetched, no seed is exchanged, and no solution is checked against a server. The hint works the same way: it reasons over the board in front of you, in memory, and keeps nothing afterwards.

What is deliberately absent

No advertising library, so nothing plays between boards and no advertising profile is built from how you solve. No analytics library and no crash reporter, so no usage events, session logs or crash traces are gathered or transmitted — we do not know which pack you are on or how many moves you took. No billing library, so hints, undos and shortcuts cannot be bought and no payment data exists. No account system and no leaderboard, so nothing you do is visible to anyone else.

Fadegrid also requests no Android runtime permissions at all: not camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or notifications.

Network use

None. Both language versions and every pack are compiled into the download, so the game opens no connection to our servers or to anyone else's and behaves identically in aeroplane mode. Because nothing is sent, nothing can be intercepted; because nothing is received, no behaviour can be switched on remotely after you install it.

The one company involved anyway

Google, because Fadegrid is distributed through Google Play. Installing or updating it is a transaction between you and Google, handled under Google's own privacy policy and its agreement with you. What comes back to us is the aggregated, anonymous view in the developer console — install counts, ratings, country totals — which cannot be traced to an individual player.

If a future version of Fadegrid ever includes anything that touches the network, this page will be rewritten before that version is published, and the change will be described plainly rather than added quietly.

Younger players

Fadegrid is a logic puzzle suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either, and there is nothing in it — no adverts, no chat, no sharing, no outbound links, nothing to buy — through which a child could send information anywhere or spend money.

If you are a parent, guardian or teacher and something appears to behave differently from what is described here, please write to us and we will look into it straight away.

Your rights, and clearing the board for good

The General Data Protection Regulation and Slovenia's Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2) give you the right to ask whether your personal data is processed, to obtain a copy, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Each of those needs data to act on, and none of yours is held here — ask and we will confirm it in writing for your records.

The save file is the only thing that exists, and it answers to you alone: reset progress in the game, clear the app's data in Android settings, or uninstall Fadegrid and it goes with the app. No copy survives elsewhere, because none was ever made.

Complaints may be addressed to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si) or to the supervisory authority where you live, though a note to us usually resolves things sooner.

Changes, and how to reach us

This page is updated only when the game changes in a way that affects privacy, and the date above changes with it. Builds you have already installed keep behaving exactly as they do today.

Questions about this policy, a board that seems unsolvable, or a par that looks wrong: raven@apcenter.digital. One inbox, read by the person who wrote the game, usually within a couple of days. Pišete lahko tudi v slovenščini.
